1.DANCER (OIL ON CANVAS )
MOHINIYATTAM is a traditional dance form of Kerala.
This is a solo, semi classical form of dance involving delicate
footsteps and subtle expressions. The word Mohini means
A
maiden who steals the heart of the onlooker. The dance form depicts
love and devotion to god, especially towards Lord Krishna. In this
picture, the dancer is performing Mohiniattam in the dance floor of
Tharavadu.

2.THIRUVATHIRA

This is a traditional
dance form of Kerala, practised with much devotion in the full moon
night of the Malayalam month, Dhanu.It falls in the month of
December usually. Married ladies celebrate this festival for the
long life and well being of their husbands. The painting is set as
in the olden times, in the court yard of a tharavadu.
